Okay, here’s the skinny.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances (Or even seen circumstances like THE COLLAPSE OF THE WORLD ECONOMY!) there will been an event at The Paschal Winery in Talent, Oregon on the 19th and 20th of this month called “The Paschal Readings”. It’s an evening of staged readings from six writers from the Medford/Ashland area of which I am one. (The other five being Darlene Ensor, Catherine A. Noah, Cynthia Rogan, David Hill and Phil Loveless.) My contribution is the revised version of “Glengarry Glen Styx” that I will be shooting in early November when I get back from vacation. (Again barring THE COLLAPSE OF THE WORLD ECONOMY!)
I’m glad to be a part of this because A) I’m a narcissist who likes watching people laugh at his stuff and B), I want to make sure that all the jokes in the revised version land. Honestly, it’s not that much different from the version in The Book. But I want to make sure it’s as solid as possible before we shoot.
Anyway, if you can make it, I’d love to see you there. I’ll be the one with the camera, shooting my piece. It’s only ten bucks for an evening of entertainment. And gentle reminder.
It’s a winery.
Therefore, they have wine.
What more could you want?
