Yeah, it’s just like the time Bob Woodward tried to use a dildo on Deep Throat.

Hey kids.  Remember that jackass who made those videos that made the community organizing group ACORN look like they condoned prostitution and wound up destroying them?
And then he tried to wiretap the phones of a U.S. Senator?
Well, he’s back and and he’s turned the creepy up to eleven!

Lusby, Maryland (CNN) — A conservative activist known for making undercover videos plotted to embarrass a CNN correspondent by recording a meeting on hidden cameras aboard a floating “palace of pleasure” and making sexually suggestive comments, e-mails and a planning document show.

James O’Keefe, best known for hitting the community organizing group ACORN with an undercover video sting, hoped to get CNN Investigative Correspondent Abbie Boudreau onto a boat filled with sexually explicit props and then record the session, those documents show.

The plan apparently was thwarted after Boudreau was warned minutes before it was supposed to happen.

“I never intended to become part of the story,” Boudreau said. “But things suddenly took a very strange turn.”

And by strange, I mean “Would make Larry Flynt squirm”.
Boudreau was meeting with O’Keefe to discuss filming part of a music video shoot for a documentary CNN is doing on conservative activists called “Right on the Edge”. But, as they say in the movies, O’Keefe had “other plans”…

“I noticed she had a little bit of dirt on her face, her lip was shaking, she seemed really uncomfortable and I asked her if she was OK,” Boudreau said. “The first thing she basically said to me was, ‘I’m not recording you, I’m not recording you. Are you recording me?’ I said, ‘No, I’m not recording you,’ and she showed me her digital recorder and it was not recording.”

Santa told Boudreau that O’Keefe planned to “punk” her by getting on a boat where hidden cameras were set up. Boudreau said she would not get on the boat and asked Santa why O’Keefe wanted her there.

“Izzy told me that James was going to be dressed up and have strawberries and champagne on the boat, and he was going to hit on me the whole time,” Boudreau said.

A short time later, O’Keefe emerged from a boat docked behind the house. In that brief conversation, Boudreau told O’Keefe that he did not have permission to record her, and reminded him that the meeting was solely to discuss the upcoming music video shoot, and he had never mentioned that he wanted to tape their meeting.

Boudreau ended the meeting and left. After the incident, Santa gave CNN a series of e-mails she says shows O’Keefe intended to try to embarrass both the network and Boudreau through an elaborate plan.

CNN later obtained a copy of a 13-page document titled “CNN Caper,” which appears to describe O’Keefe’s detailed plans for that day.

“The plans appeared so outlandish and so juvenile in tone, I questioned whether it was part of a second attempted punk,” Boudreau said.

But in a phone conversation, Santa confirmed the document was authentic. Listed under “equipment needed,” is “hidden cams on the boat,” and a “tripod and overt recorder near the bed, an obvious sex tape machine.”

Among the props listed were a “condom jar, dildos, posters and paintings of naked women, fuzzy handcuffs” and a blindfold.

According to the document, O’Keefe was to record a video of the following script before Boudreau arrived: “My name is James. I work in video activism and journalism. I’ve been approached by CNN for an interview where I know what their angle is: they want to portray me and my friends as crazies, as non-journalists, as unprofessional and likely as homophobes, racists or bigots of some sort….

“Instead, I’ve decided to have a little fun. Instead of giving her a serious interview, I’m going to punk CNN. Abbie has been trying to seduce me to use me, in order to spin a lie about me. So, I’m going to seduce her, on camera, to use her for a video. This bubble-headed-bleach-blonde who comes on at five will get a taste of her own medicine, she’ll get seduced on camera and you’ll get to see the awkwardness and the aftermath.

“Please sit back and enjoy the show.”

Leaving aside for a moment that this plan sounds like something Allen Funt would have thrown out of the writer’s room at “Candid Camera” back in the day, let’s ask ourselves how effective this plan would have been.

This is James O’Keefe.  Not terrible looking but has kind of a weaselliness around the eyes.  Kind of like Matthew Modine’s younger brother.  If Modine had a younger brother who sold Herbalife.  It’s the sort of visual shortcoming that could be compensated for with a winning personality.

This is Abbie Boudreau.  She is the (Air Quote.) bubble-headed-bleach-blonde (Close air quote.) It should be noted that her CNN bio paints a much more flattering portrait.

Boudreau joined CNN in October 2007. Since that time, her work has earned her the Livingston Award for international reporting, a national Emmy nomination, a National Headliner Award, a national Clarion Award, and she was an IRE finalist for an investigative series called “Hurricane Giveaway.” Her reporting exposed why millions of dollars of brand new household supplies that were supposed to be given to survivors of Hurricane Katrina, instead gathered dust in warehouses. The items were later given away to various state and federal agencies. As a result of Boudreau’s reporting, thousands of items were recovered and handed over to victims of Hurricane Katrina.

In 2005, Boudreau was the first journalist to expose a possible design flaw in tires produced by Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., the nation’s fourth-largest tire manufacturer. A year later, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) launched a defect investigation into one line of Cooper’s tires. In 2007, Cooper Tire recalled thousands of its tires after NHTSA found they were susceptible to tread separation. Boudreau has received numerous awards for her work, including regional Edward R. Murrow awards for investigative reporting in 2006 and 2007. She also received seven regional Emmy Awards for investigative reporting and writing and enterprise journalism, and two national Emmy Award nominations for investigative reporting. She has been honored with multiple Arizona AP Broadcasters Association Awards for investigative news and enterprise news, the First Amendment Award through the Society of Professional Journalists and the Television Award from the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Before joining KNXV-TV, Boudreau worked as an investigative reporter for WWMT, a CBS affiliate in Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids, Mich. She began her career at KWWL-TV, an NBC affiliate Waterloo, Iowa, as a one-man-band in Dubuque.

Boudreau received her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

And that’s not counting the fact that in the looks department, she would now be out of place on the arms of your George Clooney’s and Brad Pitt’s.  The fact that she has a highly functional brain only further places her out of the league of the O’Keefe’s of the world.
Hell, the scrawny little frat boy was actually leaving out IN FULL VIEW a jar of condoms and assorted dildos.  Throw in a rag of chloroform and you’ve got a cold opening for an episode of “Law and Order: SVU”.
Actually, I kind of wish Boudreau had gone to the boat with O’Keefe.  First, she could have given him a stern lecture about journalist ethics.  Then she would have told him about the great sex that she had in College and how there’s no way in hell he would have measured up.  And then for an encore, beat him about the head and torso with one of his own dildos.
Yeah, I would have dared Breitbart to post that tape!
